Coop Officers Attend CDA’s Mandated Seminars

The CBMPC management encourages the attendance of members of the Board and its different committees in various seminars mandated by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA). These seminars cover the following topics: Fundamentals of Cooperatives; Governance and Management; and Financial, Credit and Risk Management.

Non-attendance in the mandated seminars can disqualify members from holding future cooperative positions until the required trainings are completed. For the cooperative, it may result in the non-issuance of the Certificate of Compliance by the CDA for the next immediate year. Relative to that, some coop officers and committee members attended the Financial, Credit & Risk Management Seminar held on August 29-30, 2025 and the Fundamentals of Cooperatives conducted on Sept. 26-27, 2025. Both seminars were held via zoom.
