Updates on Educational Assistance Program for Members

As part of the CBMPC’s continuing program to extend assistance to the qualified members, the Membership, Education and Training Committee (METC) updated the General Guidelines of the CBMPC Scholarship Program to provide grants to deserving children/grandchildren of existing regular members of CBMPC as approved by the Board of Directors on February 27, 2025.

The updates are as follows:

1. The product/service will be renamed CBMPC Educational Assistance Program

2. The parent/guardian shall apply/request for the educational assistance and attach the following:

• Proof of school enrollment
• Certification as to the amount of annual income/source of livelihood not to exceed P250,000.00

3. After due evaluation of the screening committee, composed of METC members and Coop GM, the application will be endorsed to the BOD for approval.

4. The amount of educational assistance will be given one time and is limited to P25,000 per recipient.

5. The granting of assistance shall be on a first come, first served basis and is within the approved budget of the Program.

The Educational Assistance Program is administered by METC chaired by Director Estela E. Correa.
