NCMF Sponsors GAD Seminar

The Board approved the participation of the representatives from CBMPC’s Gender and Development (GAD) Committee in the GAD Seminar sponsored by the National Cooperative Marketing Foundation (NCMF) held on August 24, 2023 at the Great Eastern Hotel Aberdeen Court, Quezon Avenue, Quezon City. The authorized representatives in attendance were GAD Committee Chair Rosalina Magat and Member Sonia Cruz.

In 2013, CDA issued MC No. 2013-22 which “disseminates to the cooperative sector the GAD mandate of the government so as to ensure the promotion of gender equality and institutionalization of GAD in policies, programs and other activities of the cooperatives.” In compliance to this mandate, CBMPC has created its GAD Committee and encouraged participation in GAD seminars and other programs. The coop has been a member of NCMF since August 4, 2022. The invitation of NCMF to participate in this GAD Seminar is much welcome.
