CBMPC Attends LBREAI Annual Grand Alumni Homecoming

The CBMPC Board, Officers and staff who are also members of the LANDBANK Retirees and Ex-Employees Association, Inc. (LBREAI) led by Chair Rogelio Decal attended the 2024 LBREAI Grand Alumni Homecoming on November 22, 2024 at the LANDBANK Plaza in Malate, Manila.

The whole day event started with a Thanksgiving Mass at 9:00 in the morning officiated by Fr. Paul Marquez, SPP.

No less than the LBP President and Chief Executive Officer Lynette V. Ortiz graced the event. She welcomed the retirees together with the other guests in attendance and delivered a Special Message to honor the invaluable contributions of the alumni to the Bank’s legacy.

About 260 Landbankers and current senior officers of the Bank attended the occasion. It was a successful and memorable event for the alumni which is a testament to the unwavering spirit of being a LandBanker, a bond that remains loyal and true, even in retirement.

The Association President Reno Velasco reported the LBREAI’s accomplishments as well as its plans and programs. LANDBANK’s Corporate Services Sector Head, Senior Vice President Erick Sacro, delivered a message addressing some concerns of the alumni.

One of the highlights of the Grand Reunion was the nomination and selection of twelve alumni as the new set of Board of Trustees and Officers, to serve for one year effective upon oath of office and turn-over of funds and documents. The elected Board of Trustees are: Reno Velasco, Felixberto Bustos, Julio Climaco, Harold Dacumos, Conrado B. Roxas, Pablito Villegas, Fe Nieva Sandoval, Roberto Bayot, Jose Castillo, Divine Reyes, Susan Acosta and Cecile Sazon.

By January 2025, they will elect among themselves the five Board of Trustees, a Secretary and Assistant Secretary, Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer, Auditor, Election Committee Chairperson and Events Committee Chairperson.

It was a fun-filled alumni homecoming with fun games, raffles, entertainment number, dancing and videoke singing.
