Coop Shares Blessings to Samabahayang Asilo

In the spirit of Christmas and pursuant to its social responsibility, CBMPC donated to the Asilo de San Vicente de Paul (ASVP) or also known as Samabahayang Asilo, four sacks of rice and 60 food packs consisting of Chicken Inasal meals, fruits and juice for the children, youth and adults with medical condition. The ASVP was chosen as our coop’s beneficiary since it is located just in front of Pope Pius XII Center along United Nations Avenue where the CBMPC holds its office.

On December 22, 2023, Directors Noemi dela Paz and Lamelita Aquino, together with Election Committee member Lourdes Agustin, joined the coop staff in donating food packages to ASVP. A short program was prepared wherein ASVP presented to CBMPC a Certificate of Appreciation which was received by Dir. dela Paz in behalf of the cooperative. The young recipients of ASVP performed musical numbers to the delight of the CBMPC representatives.

ASVP is a social service institution the purpose of which is “to provide safe and peaceful residential care for the children in difficult situation and to facilitate access of the people to social services.” This has been its primary purpose since its establishment way back in 1885.
