SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIRPERSON

Through our newsletter SHARE which stands for our core values, I wish to greet all the members of our board of directors, officers, committee members, management staff, and regular and associate members A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I would like to share with you the good news, we have reached the P100M mark in total resources and it means, our coop now belongs to the elite group of centenarian cooperatives. This coming year is full of challenges but at the same time opportunities for our coop. We look forward to a new environment of doing business and in exploring the vast areas for development in building a strong CBMPC and a prosperous countryside. Our drive for excellence propel us to harness the collective skills and experiences of our members in pursuing innovative and creative ideas that will ensure the growth of our coop for the benefit of our members.

As part of our initiatives for the coming year, we have created an Estate Committee in order to assist our members on issues facing them on the real properties they acquired or inherited. Moreover, we intend to purchase an agricultural land for development, engage in bond flotation or issuance of an investment unit instrument, participate actively in the Cooperative Development Authority’s Koop Kapatid Program, launch the CBMPC Scholarship
Program and continue with the expansion of membership and conduct of training for potential new leaders.

We should nourish our coop with our deep sense of volunteerism, commitment and dedication that will make all of us proud of our accomplishments benefitting our members, the community and the cooperative movement as a whole. Let our sacrifices, hard work, creativity and concern for others be our legacy to the succeeding leaders, our children, to carry on with what we have accomplished and to establish new milestones for their generation.
