Ratooning H2O Cabbage (Kangkong)

Materials:
- Remaining stems of kangkong bought for cooking
- Plastic container
- Composts soil
- Rice washing
Procedure:
- Bore 3 small holes at the bottom of the container
- Fill the container with composts soil up to 2 inches below the upper rim
- Plant 3 kangkong stems at the middle about 3 inches deep (1 bundle if kangkong has 4-5 stems)
- Pour rice washing just enough to level down the soil
- Place the potted plants on an elevated space exposed to sunlight
- Water daily with rice washing just enough to moisten the soil
- Harvesting can be done once the kangkong tops are about 6 inches long

- Minimize bio-degradable wastes
- Recycle empty plastic containers
- Conserve nutritional value of kangkong
- Utilize composts soil taken from decomposed kitchen scraps & dried leaves
- Additional greening of outdoor
