Coop Members Attend the Annual LBP Alumni Homecoming

A number of the CBMPC Officers and members joined the Annual Reunion of former Landbankers at Land Bank Plaza on November 7, 2025. This event organized by the Land Bank of the Philippines Retirees and Ex-Employees Alumni Association, inc. (LBREAI) was attended by its more than 200 members who enjoyed the camaraderie and experienced the excitement seeing again their former friends and office mates.

The whole day reunion started with a Thanksgiving Mass at 9:00am officiated by Fr. Eduardo Miguel “Migs” F. Ramirez, Parochial Vicar of the National Shrine of the Sacred Heart. Fr. Ramirez is the son of the late Gary Ramirez, coop member/Asst. Editor of SHARE newsletter and former Head, LBP Customer Services Department.
Atty. Roderick Sacro, SVP/Head of the Corporate Services Sector of LANDBANK, delivered his welcome remarks via video where he articulated that the Bank will be supportive to address some of alumni concerns.
Likewise, LBP President and Chief Executive Officer Lynette V. Ortiz delivered her special message via video . She acknowledged the continued support and invaluable contributions of the alumni to the Bank’s legacy.

This special occasion was also graced by the following LBP high ranking officers: former Chairman/President and CEO Margarito Teves, former President and CEO Alex Buenaventura, former EVP, Operations Sector Jose Nograles, former EVP, Treasury & Investment Banking Sectora, Rabboni Arjonillo and former EVP, Corporate Services Sector Julio Climaco.
Mr. Arjonillo, in a special number, displayed his musical prowess by playing the saxophone. LBREAI President Reno Velasco reported the association’s Plans and Programs for 2026 and encouraged the new retirees to be active members of the Association.
The incumbent LANDBANK Officers that were usually invited in the alumni homecoming were not around because the event coincided with the bank wide Strategic Planning held at Clark Pampanga. Nonetheless, it was a successful and memorable event for the alumni which is a testament to the unwavering spirit of being a Landbanker, a bond that remains loyal and true, even after retirement
The CBMPC attendees took advantage of the opportunity to recruit additional members and offered the coop products and services to all retirees who are not members yet of our cooperative. This resulted in four members being initially added to the coop membership.
The fun-filled alumni homecoming ended with fun games, raffles, entertainment and dancing.
