LANDBANK President & CEO Administers Oath-taking of CBMPC Board of Directors and Officers

On July 26, 2024, Land Bank of the Philippines President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Lynette V. Ortiz, administered the oath-taking of the new sets of Board of Directors and Officers of the Countryside Builders Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CBMPC) at the Board Anteroom located at 34th floor, LBP Plaza.

In attendance during the said event were Chairperson Rogelio G. Decal, Vice Chairperson Demetrio R. Opinion, Director Lamelita G. Aquino, Director Leticia Lourdes A. Camara, Director Estela E. Correa and Director Noemi P. dela Paz comprising the CBMPC Board. The coop officers present were Treasurer Emily C. Capili, Secretary Evangeline N. Somera and General Manager Lydia R. de Asis. The other attendees from LBP were Atty. Nikkolas Tolentino, Vice President/Chief of Staff, OPCEO and VP Leonardo Aurellana, Jr., Head, Microfinance Institutions Department.

The short programme started with the Opening Prayer led by Dir. Aquino followed by the Opening Remarks of Vice Chair Opinion. Sec. Somera and Dir. dela Paz presented the newly elected members of the Board and the newly appointed officers, respectively to Pres. Ortiz. Each of them introduced themselves and shared how they started their career in the Bank and the experiences/ learnings/ challenges faced until retirement. Pres. Ortiz, on the other hand expressed her appreciation to the group for their valuable contributions to LBP and also articulated her Vision for the Bank. Chair Decal delivered his Acceptance Speech and Closing Remarks. Dir. Correa acted as the Master of Ceremonies.
