CBMPC Holds Virtual Christmas Party 2021
On December 11, 2021, the CBMPC virtual Christmas Party was held with the theme: “KUMUSTAHAN SA KAPASKUHAN 2021”. Around 58 participants took part in the half-day activity via the ZOOM teleconferencing platform. One of the highlights of this Christmas Party was the audiovisual presentation prepared by the Editorial Board which emphasized the cooperative’s three action plans to reaffirm its commitment in responding to the needs of its members and community despite the global pandemic, namely:
(1) Strengthening our Core – through broadening of the membership base, launching of the two virtual communication initiatives such as the Kumustahan
and Ugnayan; coming up with the quarterly SHARE newsletter; attendance in various seminars and e-forums on cooperatives; establishing strategic memberships with other organizations; upgrading of the coop website; and automation of the accounting transactions.
(2) Taking care of CBMPC’s Financial Health – by increasing its total resources to P100 million by year-end through its raffle promo campaign for increase in deposits, loans and capital share; floating of the 5-year CBMPC bonds; engaging in intercoop lending and deposits; brokering and acquisition of LSERV Corporation shares; and transfer of the coop to its new office.
(3) Looking after the welfare of our members and the community – it emphasized how well the cooperative responded to the needs of its members and the community despite this global pandemic.
Everyone enjoyed the games, raffle and trivia questions with corresponding cash prizes. Members were also wearing their most exciting and creative Christmas head dresses. Vice-Chairperson Rosalina Magat and Director Miguel Dumlao were awarded the Best Head Dress for the female category and male category, respectively.
